A friend of ours here at functionbook™ is an accountant at one of the big 4 accounting firms, and the main restaurant this private dining room belongs to (Peasant) is a favourite amongst the partners/directors for business events.
He achieved a significant promotion and we, his friends thought we would celebrate at one of his favourite restaurants.
When we heard about their Brisbane Private Dining Room, the decision to host the Saturday night dinner for 12 was a no-brainer!
When you book a private dining room, your are guaranteed only the best waitstaff and the best attention from the senior management and/or owner.
In this instance, we were welcomed personally by the owner and was given suggestions of which tapas style foods we would enjoy followed by a run down of the plethora of Spanish wines available to us.
Intimacy for a private celebration is what it is all about We were treated to amazing food and wine without any interruption from anyone. It was like having the whole restaurant all to ourselves.
Another wonderful and very classy Private Dining Room is at Riverside at the long running Il Centro restaurant and is called La Sala.
Being right in the fashionable heart of Brisbane and on the river, this Private Dining Room lends itself to the corporate market.
Certainly the upper crust of the corporate market seeking not only intimacy, but the best views and Italian food in Brisbane.
To cater to this market, they have installed excellent audio visual capabilities often used as an alternative venue than the boardroom for meetings.
Less corporate-y is e’cco Private Dining which is in the basement below e’cco Bistro on Boundary Street in Brisbane.
Think soft mood lighting, leather lounges and ambient music. The perfect setting for a more subdued private celebration.
This is a somewhat larger room than its competitors being able to accommodate up to 45 guests and the celebrated chefs are happy to create a bespoke menu with you to suit you and the occasion.
Fix Private Dining is upstairs at the enduring Port Office Hotel on the corner of Edward and Margaret Streets in Brisbane’s CBD.
For 6-14 guests, you will dine surrounded by 200 premium and vintage wines in what can certainly be described as intimate.
This is another corporate favourite and will need advance booking.
Do take advantage of functionbook™’s easy enquiry and booking form to see if they can match your expectations in terms of food and wine service.
